Whilst effective for some phobias, ERP therapy is rarely effective for Emetophobia, due to the 'root causes' that lie beneath its creation, which are not truly linked to the symptoms.
Most therapy sessions are short (60mins) which can lead to anxiety-inducing and counter-productive 'clock-watching' for the client, as well as often leaving them 'mid-emotion' when the hour is up
Most therapy support ONLY provides support DURING each therapy session, with NO contact or support until 'next time', leaving the client alone with their emotions until then.
My programme blends multiple therapy methods that help each client to uncover the subconscious 'root causes' beneath their Emet - these are never what the person consciously 'thinks' they are, which is where my expertise sets me apart.
My programme provides each client with open-ended 'Deep Dive' sessions, so my clients have all the space & time they need with me, to work through every aspect & emotion, helping guide them through deep change and healing.
My programme includes regular 'check in' support, provided in between the 'Deep Dive' sessions, so they are supported as they navigate through their journey of deep emotional healing, understanding & positive change.
